“My name is Dorcas, I am a 38-year-old married mother of three. I joined the Carakana Program in 2018. I worked on this beautiful cottage piece that took me three months to finish. The project has paid me enough money to take care of my needs here in prison such as groceries from the canteen and personal hygiene products. This project gives me hope that when I leave prison, I will be a productive member of society. May God bless Carakana for extending a helping hand to those who cannot help themselves.”
